Bloemfontein Station Medical Centre celebrates 5-years

“It has been a journey filled with trials, tribulations and joy” these words were echoed by Dr Lehlonolo Lethola, an optometrist at Bloemfontein Station Medical Centre as the medical practice celebrated their five years of existence.

Bloemfontein medical centre is a black-owned medical practice offering various services under one roof. Services offered at the practice are Optometrist, Social Worker, Medical Doctor, Dental, Physiotherapist, Professional Nurse, Dialysis and a Psychologist.

The practice celebrated their 5th anniversary in a glitzy gala dinner at their premises which are based at the Bloemfontein Railway station on Saturday 24 October.

Dr Lethola said when they started, they were about eleven professionals but over the years were reduced to about six and they kept the faith and continued and five years later they are still going strong.

“When we started this place was filled with a pile of rubbish and we had to revamp it into our offices and practice and today, it is a professionally run business and credit to the team effort as every member of our staff works hard to make this place a success. We thank our clients for their support and for being with us this past five-years. They were times when we didn’t know how we were going to pay rent but we managed to overcome all of that and today we're still standing” says Dr Lethola.

Despite others leaving and opening their practices in along the journey, the remaining members persevered and managed to make the practice a success. Lethola added that he is looking forward to even more years of success.
